We believe that highly successful families deserve more than periodic financial advice. They deserve a cutting-edge, well developed, comprehensive strategy to achieve peace of mind and accomplish lifetime goals. We develop this strategy through a series of five meetings:
The Discovery Meeting
The Discovery Meeting is the foundation for a lifetime relationship between our group and your family. We spend 1 to 1 1/2 hours getting to know each other and discussing your values, goals, current financial picture, what relationships are important to you, and how you like to be serviced. If, through this meeting, we determine that a business relationship would be mutually beneficial for us and your family, we would set a second meeting and get to work on your comprehensive financial plan.
The Plan Presentation Meeting
This meeting typically lasts 1 hour. It is designed to match you with a specifically tailored financial plan that meets your present and future goals. We will walk you and your family step by step through every element of the plan including:
- Net Worth Summary
- Retirement Plan/Cash Flow Analysis
- Estate Planning Analysis
- College Funding Plan
- Insurance Review
- Stock Option/Stock Ownership Analysis
- Asset Allocation
- Investment Plan
- Recommendation Summary
Once we have answered all of your questions and addressed any additional issues, we set another appointment a week later. This gives you the opportunity to more closely evaluate the plan and consult with those you trust. Though you may be prepared to get started implementing the plan immediately, we believe this is a lifetime decision and should not be made in haste.
The Mutual Commitment Meeting
This meeting is usually much shorter. We reconvene to address any additional questions or issues that have arisen. If everyone is in agreement that we should proceed, we begin implementation of the plan by completing the necessary paperwork.
The 45-Day Follow-up Meeting
This aptly named meeting gives you a taste of the higher level of service you will enjoy as a client of The Glatz Group. By this time, you have received a lot of information from Baird and our business partners. This meeting gives us the opportunity to walk through what we've done and what is next in the plan implementation. At this meeting we will determine what service schedule best meets your needs:
- Would you like monthly or quarterly contact?
- How many face-to-face meetings would you like each year?
- What are your expectations for these meetings?
- Do you have any family members that need to be introduced to your plan?
- Do we need to set meetings with your other advisors such as your attorney or accountant?
Reconnection Meetings
These meetings can take on many different forms, but always accomplish what is most important about a viable, successful plan: it is constantly changing. As your life changes, so will your plan. As our relationship deepens, we will come to know exactly what you desire from these meetings and make adjustments accordingly.
Our process is complex because as a high net worth family your life has become complex. We will help simplify your life. We will help you make smart decisions with your resources. We will help you make work optional. We will make you ask yourself why you didn't do this sooner. We look forward to your call.
